IT COMES WITH A 811A SELF OPENING, SELF OILING DIE HEAD LOADED WITH DIES 1/2"-3/4"AND WHAT LOOK LIKE A NEW SET OF 1"-2", WITH THE THROUGH THE HEAD OILING SYSTEM (this means as the pipe is being threaded, oil is automatically pumped through the die heads keeping the cutting teeth bathed in oil and when the threading is done. The die head open with the flip of a lever, so you can back off the carriage without having to reverse the threader! This saves a full step and probably cuts the time to thread a pipe by 25%!). I BELIEVE THE 535 IS A BETTER UNIT THAN THE 1822-I, IN SOME WAYS. WHY? THIS 535 IS ALL METAL, EXCEPT FOR THE FIBERGLASS COVER AND THE PLASTIC TOOL CABINET! THE 1822-I HAS A FIBERGLASS COVER AND A FIBERGLASS UNDERBELLY. THE 1822-I ALSO HAS A PLASTIC FRONT AND BACK COVER. IT IS ALSO BETTER THAN THE RIDGID 300, BECAUSE IT HAS A BUILT IN OILER. THE OIL IS PUMPED THROUGH THE DIE HEAD AND FLOWS ON TO THE PIPE AND DIES WHILE THREADING. FROM THERE THE OIL DROPS THROUGH A SCREEN LEAVING THE LARGER CHIPS BEHIND AND THEN INTO THE OIL RESERVOIR. THE RESERVOIR HAS ANOTHER SUCTION SCREEN WHERE THE FINES ARE FILTERED OUT AND LEFT IN THE RESEVOIR. THIS UNIT IS VERY NICE! It will be shipped with out oil, so the pump may need to be primed with oil before using.
