Description: This is a wonderful bit of history for the vinyl collector; the first stereo recording of the entire Ring series, wonderfully recorded and produced by Georg Solti on the highly regarded London ffrr label. There are 19 records in all with complete librettos and the book detailing the process of the recording events, highlighting some of the most famous opera stars in the history of opera. As noted, Das Rheingold and Die Walkure are Ex+ to NM-, the other two, Siegfried and Gotterdammerung are still sealed and thus new condition despite being over 50 years old. It is painful to part with but I am old and have begun the process of selling some of my records. This set is a treasure.
