Description: REVELL - COLUMBIA AND 747 -Introduction- This model kit has been put up for sale to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the last flight of the Columbia Space Shuttle. The orbiter was lost on 1st February 2003 upon re-entry. This is a vintage Revell model kit from 1981. For any NASA and Space Shuttle enthusiast this item would be a beautiful addition to their collection. This kit depicts the pristine Columbia as it is being carried on the NASA 747 SCA. -Condition- The carton box is in sealed unopened condition. Plastic wrapping that is sealing the box is torn in some locations. The underside of the box has a dedication text in Finnish language, and this area is one of the locations where the plastic has been torn to allow writing. The box lid is set inwards. Condition of the plastic model parts is unknown. Please view all photos. -Very Important Information-This is a sealed box, so all originally included items should be contained inside. However, it is not possible to determine the actual condition of the model parts since the box is sealed. After buying the item, the buyer is allowed to ask the seller to open the box to check the contents before shipping. If the actual plastic model parts are damaged, the buyer can cancel the purchase. -About NASA Poster- This box appears to be the version that does not include the famous NASA poster. Even though the poster is pictured in the box, it lacks the "Free Poster" text that is seen in some versions of this kit. Thus, this is being sold without guarantee of the poster being contained.
