This Atomic age Philco Clock Radio has had the capacitors inspected and replaced along with any out-of-spec resistors. The clock has been serviced and operates great. The AM broadcast reception and radio sound is excellent. It is a great little alarm clock radio capturing the essence of the Eames era Atomic age!! The "1964 Philco Model P720" is an AC operated Super-Heterodyne AM broadcast designed tube radio with alarm clock having 5 tested vacuum tubes: 12BE6, 12BA6, 12VA6, 50C5, 35W4 Dimensions 9" x 4" x 6" (L x W x H) Modern molded plastic white and brown color body. Permanent Magnet Dynamic (PDyn) Loudspeaker (moving coil) All the electrolytic filter and paper capacitors were replaced and resistors measured to specification. All vacuum tubes have been tested and replaced as needed. Power cord is original - cleaned and inspected fully functional. Knobs are all original and perfectly clean in great functional condition. Back plate is in perfect condition. NOTE: All vacuum tube radios take 30 to 60 seconds before hearing broadcast sound as the tubes warm up. Be patient when first turning on these antique radios.
