Description: For sale are reproduction frequency rings for the WWII Torn Eb radio. The rings are made to 1:1 scale of translucent Perspex with UV printed text, and are being sold as a large and small 2-ring set. The German terms for the small ring were "Bereichsskala 1 bis 8" (area scale 1 to 8), and for the large ring "Skala mit Kalibriertabellen für die Empfangsbereiche" (scale with calibration tables for the reception area). Picture #1 is the reproduction large ring, and picture #2 is an original ring. Picture #3 is the small reproduction ring, and picture #4 is an original ring. Note the holes in the original small ring have been countersunk. Picture #5 shows the rings in use on an original Torn Eb radio. Together the rings weigh 1.3 ounces, but with protective wrapping and a stiff envelope they will probably go to 3 ounces or more. Test rings were attached to an original Torn Eb coil turret before production to ensure a correct fit and usability. Photos courtesy Toadjumper Militaria.
