The operating voltage is probably 24 volts, which is standard for this style strobe, but it works fine using two 9-volt batteries in series (18 volts). Battery connectors NOT included. Our test sample also worked fine on 12 volts, but at a slower flash rate; but we can not guarantee operation on 12 volts. Dimensions are 4.45 x 2.15 x 2.5 (LxWxH in inches).
