Description: Star Wars Unlimited TCG Card Listing Redemption (052/252) (FOIL) Spark of Rebellion (Released March 2024) A Note on Foil Card Curling (Pringling)Pringling happens to foil cards when the manufacturing climate the card was made in differs from the current climate of the card. This difference in climate (humidity) causes the cardboard to expand or contract while the foil section remains unchanged. When looking at a foil card on a flat surface, with the artwork facing up, low humidity will case the center of the card to flex up, high humidity will cause the center of the card to flex down. According to TCG Player, a card may exhibit up to 5mm of curling without any impact on condition. Pringling of foil cards does not damage the card and can be easily corrected by either placing weight on the card or adjusting the climate the card is in. Most foil cards from this first set show some signs of pringling. I examine every Foil card I ship and will not sell anything with a flex greater than 5mm.However, please be aware that once the card leaves my possession, the climate around the card could change dramatically during the shipping process and arrive with a flex more than 5mm.
