Red / Lava Lamp Enchantress Model 8200-N Planter Lava Lite Simplex

Description: This rare red lava lamp is a must-have for any collector. The Enchantress Model 8200-N Planter Lava Lite by Simplex, manufactured in March of 1977 by Lava Lite, is a vintage piece that stands at 17 inches tall and has a width of 7.5 inches. The lamp is made of glass and metal with a gold finish. Overall good vintage condition. You lava receptacle itself in good condition not sure how they used to seal the top. More modern ones have a bottle cap style. This one has a red plug and the top actually screws on with a foil seal. Wax seems to flow freely once the lamp heats up. Decent looking flow liquid tends to be a little cloudy from shipping will need to run a little while but it eventually clears up this happens with most lamps. As for the metal portion base of the lamp. The light is still functioning. Cord is still in good condition switch works well. The metal portion of the lamp itself in good condition the inside of the tray has some residue /scratches from originally having fake flowers in it. Nothing that impedes the functionality of the item. Can be used as is or filled with flowers again or even use to change tray. Please see pictures for details. The lamp's design is from the 1970s and it features a cone-shaped shade. The control style is a switch and the lamp is corded electric with a voltage of 110V and a brown cord color. This original piece is perfect for unisex adults and it would make a great addition to any collection.
