Description: Handmade string puff silencers. 80/20 acrylic wool blend. Works great on Flemish twist strings. I have been making my own for several years. Unstrung the bow, center puff silencer between bundles at desired position on both ends of the bow and restring. Cut the loops that are tied on each end(scissors work great for me. It will take several shots with the bow for the puffs to completely “fray out”. After shooting them in you can shape them with scissors if you have a few wild strands. Picture is one of them on one of my recurves after installation. Sold in pairs of 2. Ends ups being approximately a 2” puff when installed and shot a few times. View pics for the way I install them. If your string doesn’t have very many twists in it you may want to tie them in. Normally they stay in place on Flemish twist strings whiteout tying in.
