Recap Kit for Bose 201 Series III Speaker Crossovers MPT Film Capacitors

Description: Up for sale here is this recap kit for a pair of Bose 201 Series III speakers. This will let you completely recap two (2) Bose 201 Series III speakers. This is not for the other 201 speakers, just the 201 Series III. These are brand new Supertech MPT (metallized polypropylene film) capacitors, which are super-high-quality and will sound nice and clear. There are two 4.7 uf caps to replace the old 4.5 uf caps--one for each speaker. The old caps are pretty bad by this point, but these new film caps will get your speakers singing again! These are fairly easy to install as long as you know what you're doing. You will need a decent soldering iron, solder, a Philips screwdriver, wire cutters, and a hot glue gun or rubber cement to aid in mounting the caps. I recommend opening up your speakers before you order, just to make sure you have the single 4.7 uf cap in each. Sometimes Bose liked to change up their crossover designs.
