Description: Real RED RUBBER 20" BMX Bike Tire Inner Tube 20x1.75/1.95 BUY-IT-NOW: REAL red rubber BMX inner tube in unused condition. I got a half-dozen of these on Ebay a few years ago, shipped from out of the country. This isn't that weird "plastic rubber" or latex type of tube; it's regular rubber, normal BMX tube thickness, with the embossed lines on the outside to prevent air pockets when the tube inflates inside the tire. It's a REGULAR type of rubber--only it's red, so I suppose it's natural rubber instead of butyl, but I'm not sure on this point. Original box included, but all writing on it is like Chinese or something and I can't read it. Maybe you can? I've used a couple of them in one of my bikes; they're been great. I don't think I've had a flat with them, and they hold air pretty well--I only add air if the bike's been sitting for a week or two between rides. They don't pop easily like the latex kind, they're durable like regular tubes. This tube has a weird valve on it, however. The stem is threaded all the way down and you use a locknut to hold it in place on the rim. The stem's the same thickness as a regular Schrader valve, but you use a Presta pump nozzle on it as it's supplied. To deflate it, you unscrew the top part and the valve core pops out and all the air rushes out. You can't bleed a little extra air off; when you let it down, it goes down all the way. HOWEVER, I got some little Presta-to-Schrader converter nipples from the bike department at Wal-Mart (I know...), and I use the regular pump nozzle to blow them up. The adapter makes the stem a little longer, and it actually looks cool. I use those green "nitrogen" caps on them so it's a little quirky too :-} This tube has been stored inside, wrapped in its original box (see photos) and out of light. The tube is fresh and supple, ready to install in your BMX tire. The size says it's good for 20x1.75/1.95, but my tires are 20x2.125 and there have been no problems. Your results may vary, of course, and I can't guarantee no flats with these, but if you avoid hitting nails and stuff, you'll probably be fine :-} I have a total of (3) tubes up for sale. Each one is $49.95. They're expensive, but they were high when I bought them. I don't see them on E-Bay anymore either--just those latex ones :-} I'll cover postage to US addresses :-} PLEASE message me with any questions or comments about this tube! A-5515; 061924
