Description: I'm calling this on-strike poster rare because I couldn't find another identical one after much research. I believe it was created for the 1984 Disney strike. I found it at the estate sale of a retired Disney employee, I was told that he worked from the 1970s-90s. The lettering was definitely painted by-hand with the possible exception of the top 3 lines. Poster board. It measures 14x22 inches. Condition issues as shown, hard tape residue, dinged corners, smearing on the majority of the letters. I tried to give it a lite cleaning with a damp cloth and it caused more smearing. The poster cannot be cleaned without further damage. According to my research MAPO is short for MAry POppins. MAPO is a division of Disney's engineering department. Although it has issues it may be the only one of it's kind. Check out my other auctions for 3 Disney "prototypes" found at the same estate sale. I recycle shipping material, the box may have advertisements, the packing may be newspaper. Thanks For Taking A Look!
