RARE Vintage Schwinn Airdyne Ergometer Speedometer Tested 670.3 miles!! air dyne

Description: !!! READ FULL DECRIPTION !!!!If your Airdyne speedometer is not working It most likely due to a cracked Hub Drive sending unit (see last photo for example of cracked hub). You MUST HAVE working hub drive for your speedometer to function. A quick test it to unhook your cable where it plugs into your speedometer and have someone ride the bike to verify your cable center is spinning and will still spin with light finger pressure when you pinch it and try stop it from spinning.If you have tried to test your speedometer with your cordless drill it will not work at first. You need to spin the drill in reverse direction only and the drill needs to spin over 1000 rpms to move the red pointer needle and it won't spin that fast. You can how ever spin it for around 30 seconds and see if the far right 1st white digit on your resetable tripmeter has clicked up a digit or so, if it has your speedometer is working fine, and it is the hub or cable that is the problem.Please message me if you have any questions or if it does not work when you hook it up (it has been tested and verified to work before sending on a working Airdyne as shown in 2nd to last photo).Schwinn Airdyne Ergometer Speedometer Fits Schwinn AirdynesTested to work (see 2nd to last photo) & retested right before shipping (read above)Good Used Condition, 670.3 +testing miles (see Photos) normal fading yellowing of white plastic digits from light exposure.
