Description: Offered here is a rare lapel button for the International Printing Pressmen and Assistants Union. The union began at the end of the 19th century and was active until it was part of a merger in 1973. Based on the design and materials, this button likely dates to prior to 1940. The button is 18.6 mm (approximately 3/4") in diameter and is in good, vintage condition. The female portion of the screw back button is stamped, "Wm Baumgarten 511 W. Balto. St Baltimore". If you are a collector of trade union pins and buttons, this one is hard to find and would be a great addition to your collection. Please view all of the photos for better detail, as they are an important part of the description. Feel free to message me if you have any questions or wish to see any other photos. Regarding shipping: I utilize United States Postal Service Ground Advantage for almost all sales, purchased through eBay shipping.
