It has been stored since purchase in a bin in a climate-controlled, smoke-free environment. However, label is in somewhat rough condition and exposed ends of soap are slightly damp due to soap's inherent hygroscopic nature. Still retains original fragrance. The bar is and unopened but the label is in somewhat rough shape because over time the paper wrapper has become fragile from the soap's hygroscopic (moisture-attracting) nature. The soap cylinder is firm and intact but the label is slightly damp to the touch and tears easily.
