Rare Vintage 60s Vogue #18440 Red Smock & Checked Pants Ginny Outfit With Box

Description: This listing is for a rare early 60s complete Ginny #18440 ensemble in its original box. The outfit as found in the box included only the red smock with felt dog appliqué, the detachable white vinyl collar, the checked pants and a matching headscarf. I added a pair of Ginny bow shoes and a hanger to complete the set. All of the clothing pieces are in excellent, very crisp and bright condition. All fasteners are secure and the elastic at the waist of the pants is still stretchy. I'm amazed the sweet little collar was still in the box. This outfit is so cute!!! The smock has a fabric tag with dark blue script (1957-1965). The 4-3/4" x 6-1/4" box is not in perfect condition but still displays nicely. It has yellowed a bit with age, the cello has a couple of small 'dents' but no tears, and one corner was crushed and repaired (see photo). The only reference I could find for this stock number is in the 1961 price list on page 126 of The Ginny Doll Encyclopedia. Please feel free to contact me with questions.
