Description: Up for auction is a VINTAGE Gump's Multi-Strand Necklace. This exquisite necklace is accented with a GORGEOUS carved jade clasp. The carved jade clasp is designed with a LOVELY persimmon and leaves. This necklace was made in 1970's for Gump's. The 7 multiple strands of this necklace are comprised of round stones...I do not know if it is black jade or black oynx. It is measures approximately 17 1/2" long (from end of clasp tothe end of where the closure for the clasp starts. The round beads measure approximately 1/8"W. The clasp portion itself measures 7/8"L by 1/2"W (at widest point.) Weighs 82 grams. In-between each bead, it is a double knotted silk thread. This was purchased MANY years ago from Gump's. This is vintage and has been stored away in a safe in a non-smoking home. The clasp is marked, "TSL 14k." TSL is the hallmark for TS Linn, who is a designer sold by Gump's. my scale only weighs in 1 gram increments...so it weighs between 82 and 83 grams. Pictures of actual item. Shipping is $45.
