Description: Rare early original vintage photo album page of the famous 5 Wolsky’s European Song and Dance Troupe. The album contains three real photographs and six program advertisements for this group who performed at various venues around Germany and Switzerland. VIews show the Central - Theater in Dresden, Germany with an ink notation that the 5 Wolsky’s performed there in January 1926. There is a real photograph of the group on stage and it looks like they all signed their names on the large bass drum, a printed photo of Bela Kiss, and an unidentified real photograph of a man dressed in what looks like is a Russian Cossack uniform with a large knife. On the reverse page is a cartoon with the caption in German which translates to “My song beckons softly” and the names “Slava” and “Liesa” have been printed in ink over the heads. There is a signed portrait of a band member? and three program cutouts from venues in Berlin, Germany ands dated 14 Feb. 1926. The album page measures 8 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches (22 x 23 1/2 cm) and is in very good condition.
