Description: Pair of Frederick Cooper Chicago Hand Signed and Painted Candlestick Wood and Porcelain Table Lamps. These have been in my family for some time. Very Rare. One of the lamps was hand painted and signed by Frederick Cooper himself. You will never find another personally signed Cooper lamp. The story goes that my grandmother was a family friend and received these as a gift. The first lamp was the original lamp produced and hand painted / signed by Cooper himself as the production example to be followed. The second lamp does not have the same signature of Cooper but is supposed to be a first mass run production copy of Cooper's original. It's a cool story but unfortunately I don't have any additional documentation. Each lamp is 21" high and the wood base is 5" x 5". The lamps work perfectly on toggle switch cord. Shades and finials are not included.
