Description: This rare chair came out of as local Cape Cod estate. It is a Nichols and Stone chair made from salvage wood from the 1938 hurricane. The chair is in worn condition showing plenty of wear and loss of paint and some cracks to the seat as shown. Some would call it a great aged patina to the stencil decoration! If you like country primitive it's a great chair for you, if you like something cleaner- give it a fresh coat of paint!!
