Description: Here offered is a very rich thumbnail specimen of what I would call 'herringbone' silver richly covering and protruding from the light pink barite. The silver has a very nice fresh color and is almost crystalline in nature. Specimens of native silver from this lesser known mine in the Wittichen district are pretty rare as I have only ever seen a small handful from there. Silver specimens are some what more common from the Sophia mine but silver specimens from anywhere in the Black Forest are rare nowadays! This is a piece from my personal collection and has been there for a long time. Don't miss out because it's the only one I have! Comes labeled and mounted in a thumbnail perky box. 2.3x1.7 cm
