Description: Hello and thank you for viewing my latest find. I have gained access to a locale outside of Glendive Montana where I have been allowed to search a private property for meteorites. I have come across an area where the KT boundary has been exposed from the cattle rancher cutting out the side of a cliff to direct water for his cattle. I have recovered this material from "below" the KT boundary line. Not sure what it is? No idea, but it is strange and really different, which is what I like to hunt for, things bizarre and strange and hopefully meteorites as well. No meteorites found to date, but lots of crazy stuff from this new area. This is in the middle of nowhere folks, lol. Hope you enjoy, let me know if you can identify this material, as I state again, I have no idea of what it is. I have come to find from the rancher also, that there are many more places on his land with strange formations. He will take me there next summer, oh ya! lol. This was my second summer hunting this land, talk about peaceful. I HAVE HAD A BUNCH OF INQUIRIES ON WHETHER I HAD SOME OF THE ACTUAL KT BOUNDARY LAYER. I HAD TO FIND IT, FOUND IT. I BROKE ONE OF THREE PIECES I HAVE AND IT CRUMBED BADLY. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED ABOUT THE FRAGILITY, SO NO COMPLAINTS PLEASE. I WILL DO MY BEST TO SHIP WITHOUT TOO MUCH CRUMBLING. You are purchasing one vial full, the entire bubble, not to the top. These are fragments broken off of a larger specimen. Vial included.
