Rare Hand Painted Vase by I.E.C. Co. Japan Gold Raised Ca.1885 Roses

Description: This is a beautiful antique vase in rich greens, gold and pinks. It stands approximately 10" tall and is 7" at its widest point. It is hand painted with gold and is raised around the mouth of the vase. It also features raised gold beads around the approximate 2" on the mouth of the vase. The hallmark reads: Made in Japan, exact era is estimated at 1885 to 1925. The hallmark also includes I E and Co with the green wreath surrounding the hallmark, Hand Painted porcelain. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks or crazing. I can see no loss of gold. It is also beautifully glazed on the inside as well. It was purchase years ago at an auction house, where similar vintage items were also for sale. I fell in love with the hand painted roses on the front and back of the vase.
