Description: Here we have a rare antique hardback copy of FROM NORTH POLE TO EQUATOR, WILD LIFE AND SCENES IN MANY LANDS by A.E. Brehm. Published by Blackie & Son Ltd. In fair to good condition for it's age, a fair bit of age related wear and imperfections throughout , as found after being stored away for many decades, I have made no attempt to clean or restore the volume. Stamped and punched for Metropolitan Special Collection Southwark, as such this obviously adds to the imperfection list, but in my opinion lends some further interesting history and backstory to the piece. There is a particularly interesting punch on one of the opening pages. A good candidate for a restoration project. Approximately 10" x 7". I have other rare early volumes in separate listings.
