This combination produces” SOUND TO DIE FOR!” Easily BESTING! Just about every single hi end turntable I have owned in the past including thorens TD 124 idler drive turntable and linn LP 12 turntable . In the listing there is a video and pics of the actual turntable you will be getting where you can see how nice it look and how well it’s working . The beautiful rosewood cabinet is in excellent condition with some minor cosmetic flaws that come with age , the tonearm rest is missing this is the way I got it . None of which has any bearing on the performance of this quality turntable . I think this model is being used by serious vinyl audiophiles in know , musicians and professionals in broadcast and recording industry . Another sign it a serious audiophile turntable is the fact as it did not came originally with a tonearm one had to buy his own , a tonearm of their choice and buy a cartridge separately of their choice . The original tone arm rest was missing this is the way I got it . in its place a custom made tone arm rest has been made which work very effectively and is as shown in the last three pics in the listing . One last thing to note it that the voltage is 240 volts which is not a problem the best thing is to buy a variable voltage transformer also called a VARIAC, this device allow you to select any voltage between 0 to 240 volts ac , I used it with a variac. Although it says 240V at back I found at at just 160V the turntable quartz lock and all functions work correctly then I increased voltage all the way upto 240v and left it there . You can get a VARIAC transformer very cheap online from places like Amazon also a good quality voltage conversion transformer will work perfectly buy one that will convert local USA voltage of 120vac to 240 vac these transformers too are available online places like Amazon and others for a nominal price . IN SHORT ! THIS COMBINATION OF QUALITY TURNTABLE , TONEARM AND CARTRIDGE IS A JOY! TO USE AND LISTEN THE SOUND WILL BLOW YOUR MIND AWAY!
