The females grow to 7 lbs each and the males grow to 9 lbs each! They are a great dual purpose bird. They have a beautiful Lilac neck feathers, tail feathers and under wings. Their main plumage color is pure white. This breed is calm, docile, friendly and hardy. They are very cold tolerant as they are built for cold weather, keeping warm with their goose like down! Our starter Breeding Flock came directly from Greenfire Farms in 2014. HATCHING EGGS- We sell our eggs in groups of 6. We do include 1 free extra egg in every 6 pack order. The free extra eggs will be eggs from breeds included already in your order. If you are purchasing an assortment then the free extras will be selected by the farm staff. The eggs will have a pen letter and date written on the shell and we will include a key that tells you what breed corresponds to that writing. We mail hatching eggs Monday through Wednesday. If your purchase is made Thursday through Sunday, Your eggs will be mailed Monday Morning. This gives the fastest best shipping scenario, and gives USPS the best opportunity to deliver your eggs quickly. Eggs will be held at the post office for pick-up unless otherwise requested.
