Description: This rare beauty always commands a high price. This is a "1953" STRUNG "Colored" Ginny. You may see the 1954 SLW "colored" Black Ginny but very rarely is the STRUNG version offered. Today is special because here she is! I could put her in any of the many outfits I own, and have. However this 1952 SKINNY TAG Vogue #36 Eve (HTF) from the Brother and Sister series is most striking on her. She is a serious school girl. The red and plaid is a nice contrast against her beautiful skin tone. She is wearing vintage rayon socks with Ginny red plastic (later) knob and strap "Ginny" embossed heal shoes. I like them on her, They make her look very school bound along with her red (early) plastic purse. I added the classic Ginny straw hat and gave it a touch of red buds on wire (removable). So here she is for you to dress and see what you like best on her. Flaws: Her cheeks are in played with condition each has a small skuff on the paint. Her wig is full but also in played with condition. This was a loved doll and continues to be. She is clean, odor, rip, tears, stains, and crack FREE. This doll will be sent insured.
