It includes its original clay waterer and wood feed trough.There is some lower leg loss present on one side plus the thin wood base appears to be an old replacement as it bears the paper label of a photography store in Gettysburg, PA (see 12th & 13th photo). The canary birdcage was commonly used in coal mines to monitor the air quality and alert miners of any potential dangers.
