It looks like a little bit of the pastel transferred to the glass in the cloud and leaves area. At the same time, we think it gives more depth to the clouds and the tree with falling leaves. So, was it intentional? The original paper backing has torn across the top. The frame has a few small nicks which we've documented in the photos.
