Description: Amazing Large Prehistoric Shark Tooth set in 9-10k gold. It's pretty impressive. The gold easily passed a 9k acid test but did not pass 14k. There’s a small chance it’s heavily plated but it was sold to me as solid gold and appears to be. Flaws: It is fully wearable but has some damage to the back where gold has chipped away. The pin looks like it has been replaced but the setting and pin mechanisms are original. The setting would benefit from being tightened by a jeweler. The sides don't firmly adhere to the tooth. There are some cracks in the tooth but the tooth itself still holding well and nothing in the tooth wiggles or seems loose.
