*RARE* 2005 Topps XXL Aaron Rodgers Rookie PSA 5 formerly PSA 10 Read!

Description: DESCRIPTION: So you think you have a large Aaron Rodgers rookie collection, well odds are you don�t have one of these. This is a rookie card unlike any you�ve seen before. In 2005 Topps produced a number of regional specialty sets. One of these was the 2005 Topps Packers XXL set, featuring oversize cards of 4 Packer players. One of the cards in this 4 card set is an Aaron Rodgers rookie card. By oversize cards, I mean 8� x 10� full portrait size cards! Too big to fit on my flatbed scanner. It's a monster and weighs well over a pound in the giant case. The case measures 9 3/4" x 13 1/4". This comes with a not so fun PSA story. I sent in my 4 best remaining copies of this giant card for PSA grading a number of years ago. None of these had ever been graded by PSA to that point. I saw the process get through assembly stage and I then got a call from a PSA supervisor. My 4 cards had graded PSA 10, PSA 10, PSA 9, and PSA 7, however I was told that they damaged the 3 highest graded cards. I was horrified. Sadly, I did not insure them for PSA 10 value so basically I was screwed. Long story short, this card was a PSA 10, but they tried to sandwich the card between hard plastic sheets during the sealing process. To me it appears like some grey speckling appeared on a front corner or two, almost looks like a thumb print. If you don't look close you don't really see it, but I included a zoomed in picture of one of the corners. This card has PSA 10 sharp corners, edges, and centering, and presents as PSA 10 but has PSA 5 grade thanks to PSA and their sealing process. Also remember that there are vastly fewer of these XXL cards out there than the mainstream Rodgers rookie cards. In fact, PSA shows only 23 of these XXL copies have been graded compared to over 10400 of his regular Topps issue graded. I also provided a picture of a standard size card next to this graded XXL Rodges to show scale only, it is NOT included in this listing.
