Description: Very nice collectable Gillette Adjustable Safety Razor dated K-1 from the first quarter of 1965. Some signs of use and a couple of small nicks in the top of the razor (see picture 9). Case has a hairline crack but is solid and in one piece. Comes with case and 15 vintage Gillette Super Blue blade holder that has two unused blades in it. Also included is a reproduction of the instruction manual for the razor. Razor is mechanically sound with excellent lock up and solid with no looseness in the handle. Adjustment knurl is solid and tight with solid black numbers clearly marked on the knurl. Other than the minor crack to the case (see picture 12) the case is sound with good graphics on the top and the back and solid hinges. The clasp on the case is intact and functions as it should. Overall I would rate the condition of the total package as very good. These 1960's adjustable razors are considered to be among the finest ever made by Gillette and this one would make a great daily shaver or a superb addition to your collection. Thanks for looking.
