Description: This rare 1910s “California Nugget" litho hinged tobacco tin, measuring 2 5/8” x 4 1/2” x 1”, is in good condition with no rust or dents and some age related paint scratches and chips. The hinge is in excellent condition. There are two pieces of tax stamp. This highly attractive gold, red and green tin features a green ribbon with a red label which states that "California Nugget" tobacco is for the man who has never been satisfied with any other tobacco. The tobacco was manufactured by the American Tobacco Company, Durham, NC in Factory 2, District, MD.
