Description: Rare 1882 EAPG Adams Post by Adams & Co. Open Compote Pressed Glass with a ridge and panels. Clear glass compote is 7" High and 5.5" square. There are some bubbles and some 'swirls' from the manufacturing process. There are also rough edges where the glass sections meet, as expected. On the feet, the edges are rough and I think one foot actually has a very, very small flea bite and though I can't see it, it feels like one. Please examine picture carefully. There are a few surface scratches on a couple of the upper panels, but one must look very closely. Overall, this Early American Pattern piece is in outstanding shape. Thanks for looking!
