Description: Rare 1760s era Ducal Ludwigsburg porcelain figural rooster ink stand. The ink stand features colorful rooster, red comb with matching red and green neck and tail fathers looking back to its cover which displays a gold bunny finial on the cover. The ink stand is complete with hand painted flowers and gold accents. There is a small receptacle on the front breast to hold the pen. It is free of chips, cracks, or crazing.
