Description: Accessories for Rapidly Detachable Table (RDT) Extended Table, V-Guide, X-Fence(Note: Just the chosen accessory, NO TABLE IS INCLUDED) Description: The RPT table and accessories comprise a system to maximize use of your combination Bandsaw in the vertical mode. Three accessories are currently available for the RDT. Accessory attachment System: Every RDT Table comes with an accessory attachment system comprised of dados on top and bottom of the table and 3 studs, and washers/nuts. Not every accessory uses all three studs. This provides the basis for a secure and sturdy mount of the accessories. Only one accessory can be mounted at one time. The RDT Table can be removed from the saw without removing the accessories, if you choose to. Since every RDT has an accessory mounting system, you can transfer the accessories between different RDTs mounted on different saws without buying more than one set of accessories. (You can also transfer your RDT between tables but you will need a deflector plate for each saw.) Note: Only one accessory can be mounted on the RDT at a time. Compatibility: The accessories require an RDT Table to attach to. The accessories are compatible with all OFG garage LLC RDT Tables. They are not usable for anything without the parent RDT Table that they attach to in operation. The accessories all mount to the accessory attachment system on the operator end of the table. The Accessories: RDT-Extension – This accessory creates a larger work surface in front of the blade. You may choose to use this “as needed” or attach it semi-permanently to your RDT. Since this table extension has a leg that clamps into your saw’s vice, it is the strongest solution for heavy or long work stocks. When attempting to work on very heavy pieces on your saw in vertical mode, this can prevent excess stress from being applied to your saw components as well as adding the structure to make a better cut. V-Guide – The V-Guide is a fascinating tool that for which the utility will only be appreciated as you envision new uses for it. The V-Guide uses two of the mounting studs and slides from side to side to change your cut geometry in relation to the blade. The V-Guide can handle round, square and rectangular parts, cutting them accurately longitudinally X-Fence – The X-Fence has one purpose; it is used to cut strips of stock. It does so accurately and reliably. Many projects require strips of stock. On the other hand, not everyone will have a use for the X – Fence. In addition, the X-Fence has an accessory of its own. If you are wanting to cut very short pieces, there is a possibility that a piece will roll off the end and get stuck between the blade and V-Guide accessory. The leveling accessory allow you to set the table height flat with the bottom of the stock as it runs though the V-Guide channel. This is normally not needed and takes some time to set up.
