Blanco"), 14 maps (lacking, as is often the case, one map, "Plano de las posciones ... en la Resaca de Guerrero," but with another in duplicate), one folding table, printed both sides; the portraits are of Generals Taylor, Scott, and Worth, and Santa Anna and 10 other leading Mexican participants. Howes A-105 ("b," calling for 27 maps and plates): "The original Spanish edition was suppressed by Santa Anna." Sabin 48281: "Extremely rare. General Santa Anna, when last in power, ordered the edition to be destroyed, and imprisoned the authors."
