The condition of this watch is as follows: Pre-owned in excellent condition. With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch are... 1. This watch is a classic modern sporting oversized watch at 45mm but with a 1970s-1990s kind of sporting safari look. I can recommend this watch for somebody with a wrist size of 6+3/4 inches and larger. I believe this watch wears a little smaller than 45mm due to the dark colorway. The full arabic numerals is increasingly rare in fine timepieces but it works well here to give that slightly vintage vibe. Right at home for the person who likes 1883, 1923 and Yellowstone.2. The case, crown and lugs are particularly outstanding with the gunmetal finish and gives the watch a unique and slightly different design ethos. The vibe is one cool, vintage, smooth sporting luxury... like a particularly well maintained 35 year old Range Rover or Landcruiser. Pair this with a waxed cotton field jacket and a thermos of coffee while you take in the mountain, beachside or country scenery... or just watching the kids kick the soccer ball around at the local park. 3. The back of the watch continues the serious sporting vibe with a simple, yet still gunmetal finished, caseback. I personally also love a simple 3-hand (hours, minutes, seconds) dial with no date complication to keep the dial uncluttered. The pop of orange for the second hand is lovely. 4. The strap deserves some additional special mentioning. It is not your run-of-the-mill canvas strap as Ralph Lauren does not do stuff half-way. Leather backed and with a color of the canvas that perfectly compliments the color of the indices on the watch dial. 5. The movement is the Ralph Lauren RL300-1 which boasts a 42 hour power reserve and very importantly is Chonometer certified for timekeeping accuracy when it leaves production. In short, another instance where "half measures" was not in Ralph Lauren's vocabulary. 6. A very nice Ralph Lauren box (as pictured) rounds out the listing. Note that this would set you back about $3,800 USD out the door if you went and bought it new. This piece is now among one of my "go to" timepieces for any number of casual activities and one that I am happy to continue to own and see continue to appreciate. This and a black leather jacket rocks in the evening and with pretty much my entire wardrobe during the day... along with my Landcruiser! We do not offer returns or a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs at our cost (with no profit for us but paid for by you). Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside). In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation.
