Description: Louisville & Nashville (L&N) E7A road #758 This is a Proto 2000 model of L&N's E7A, road number 758. This model was purchased over 23-years ago model and has been heavily weathered to represent the prototype E7A shown in the photo prior to being painted in the "Yellow Nose" gray livery sometime prior to 1965. The seller weathered it a close to the photo as possible thus, the model you see in the photos. The original photo will be included with the purchase The model has never been ran on a track, it spent those 23+ years sitting in a display cabinet. The model does not have any broken handrails, lift rings, grab irons, etc. It does have knuckle style couplers installed on both ends of the model. It has a factory installed 8-pin DCC decoder but, is not equipped with a decoder. The factory add-on user parts are still sealed in the plastic bag. The larger fuel tank is included (not needed for this model) along with the close door front coupler pocket. The original box is available and is in very good condition and it has all of the original documentation. The model will be securely packed for shipment.
