Description: Nice antique primitive wooden lidded box. Simple inlaid top with a piece missing on the very top center piece and a bubble in the veneer - see last picture. Veneer is also lifting on the back side of the box - near the hinge on the left. Inside is painted in what appears to be original blue paint and is wallpapered on the inside of the lid and on the lip around the bottom part of the box. Lock is missing. Inside lid of the box must have had a picture or something that was removed. There is some kind of writing that I can’t make out. Measures 11” x 8” x 3 1/2”.
