PRICE DROP - DIY Medieval Gauntlets - mild steel, aluminum, leather

Description: Gauntlets - DIY gauntlets consisting of aluminum chain mail, mild steel demi-gauntlet cuffs, and leather gloves. Assembly required. PLEASE NOTE: The first two pictures show what these look like put together but you'll need to connect the parts yourself. This is not a kit, it's a DIY project that uses common sense so assembly directions are not included. SECOND PLEASE NOTE: Don't use these for combat or as real armor. BONUS: Because you're creating these, you made them. :-) The components consist of four separate parts: 1) The large leather work gloves, purchased from a local hardware store, have a stained black leather wrist guard sown on to the gloves. The back of the gloves are a mesh so they're cooler to wear in hot weather. 2) The custom woven aluminum butted chain mail fingers cover the top of the provided gloves. The chain mail rings were purchased from "The Ring Lord" up in Canada. 3) The mild steel demi-gauntlets were made by hand from HorseFriend Armory and made in the USA. The owner of the armory did blacksmithing for 30 years and these are seriously high quality workmanship. 4) Miscellaneous steel knuckle guards and finger guards, also known as the fiddly bits, are included if you want to add them. SECOND BONUS: I've added in a pair of leather gloves (last picture) where I attached a series of knuckle and finger guards to a strip of leather, and then secured it to the extra gloves. You can use the parts in this kit if you'd rather to do that instead. I preferred chain mail to riveting small plates of metal to the fingers, but you've got options. THIRD PLEASE NOTE: I can only find the left thumb plate, and not the right one. If I find it, I'll send it to you for free. However, I've moved three times since I bought this, so it's not likely. THIRD BONUS: I've included about 11 oz of loose chain mail rings if you want to weave something of your own and a small rectangle of woven chain mail that's about 6 x 6 inches. I'm not sure who's going to buy this. Maybe you're a renaissance fair aficionado whose garb is constantly complimented and you're mistaken as someone who works there?
