Description: Beautifully sculpted, ground and smoothed to perfection, this sleek little battering ram, pestle, mano, club, etc., was best used for some heavy duty work smashing things. This little 3.50 lb. slugger is covered in a dark patina, so the true color is obscured by some kind of organic matter. The design and construction of this wonderful work of ancient, and yet unknown artisan, is fascinating, for me anyway. This is an incrediblepiece of forever lasting stone art. Found "as is" in Eastern Multnomah County near the Columbia River.
