Each Block is specifically designed and engineered for each Cartridge type as to the Block Dimensions the Bore (Hole) Size and the Bore Depth. Each Block is custom made to the buyer's needs and preferences. The Bore Diameter of each Hole is the same as the Maximum Case Diameter specified by SAMMI or CIP - the American and European ammunition standards bodies. This has several benefits You will be instantly alerted to a case body that has not been properly resized If the case web has expanded due to overpressure it will not fit in the loading block - these cases are dangerous and should be discarded Your cases will not wiggle around because the holes are larger than they need to be The Blocks Weight and Solid Rubber Pads prevent accidental Cartridge or Powder spills Design Features These Blocks are made from Solid Billet 6061 Aluminum with solid rubber pads that prevent any movement around your loading bench if bumped. There are five standard sizes of loading blocks - the size is dependent on the case diameter of the brass being reloaded - See the photo of all five for comparison. All blocks are finished to a full 1" thickness. The Depth of Holes is dependent on the length of the Cartridge - long cases such as the 7mm PRC or 30-06 use the deepest possible depth of 0.870, whereas the shorter 6mm BR Norma seems ideal with a 0.600 Depth. Hole Tolerance - 0.4730 to 0.4737The hole diameters are machined to a tolerance of "Minus 0.0 to Plus 0.0007" - that's 7 ten thousandths of an inch! - Each Hole is checked with Precision Gage Pins. Series ThreeSeries Three Blocks are designed for Cartridges with a Diameter between .450 & .500 - This allows for what I feel is an appropriate spacing between the Cartridge Cases - If you want more space between Cases or you want all your blocks to be the same size - Select any listing from the series size you want and include a note confirming your Cartridge - I will confirm all details with you before any machining begins. Engraving Custom Engraving and filling with enamel color is included with each purchase - Have whatever text you might like on one or both long sides, such as "308 Winchester" on one side and "22-250 Remington" on the other. Another option would be the Cartridge name on one side and your name on the other. Customize Customize any block to fit your needs with no additional charges. If you prefer different depth holes than standard just include a note with your order. If you desire a larger block for your Cartridge than standard - select the size you prefer.
