Description: This Post War 40s 50s Yugoslav People's Army JNA M48 Mauser Rifle Stock is in very good, clean condition and only shows mild signs of age, service and storage. The stock is marked with a serial number and several smaller inspection stamps. The number "5" is stamped in the barrel channel and the number "37" is hand-written in pencil nearby. A cleaning rod nut appears to be present but has not been tested. No obvious cracks or serious damage can be found, the wood is clean and retains a rich color. No metal hardware is included with this stock. A cupped buttplate, milled lower barrel band and bayonet stud are the only pieces of metal hardware still intact. Each shows light traces of age and wear but appear to be in good serviceable condition overall. Total length measures approximately 39" from tip of bayonet stud to the flat bottom of buttplate.
