Alignment - Align internal seam of upper pole with the opening in the splice pole. The opening and internal seam need to line up for easier installation. Slide - Simply slide upper pole tube over lower splice tube. See Fig #1. Tap - While holding upper tube, tap lower tube on a solid surface until tubes slide together completely. See Fig #2. CAUTION: Keep hands and fingers away from splice during assembly. Hand and fingers can be pinched between tubes during assembly. Keep feet clear of taping area. Tapping tube on foot may cause injury.
