Description: Poehlan 3/4 Bass Bow French Style, Brazilwood round stick, made in Germany in the 1930th by Gustay C.Poehland. Manufacture of Bows and String Instruments in Saxony Germany. The Stick is made of the finest Brazilwood with straight grain. This stick is strong, flexible, and produces a big clean sound. The head is mounted with a ivory tip. The ebony frog is fully mounted in German silver, with a pearl eye and Mother of Pearl Slide. The button is three piece, silver, ebony, silver. The lapping consist of silver wire and a nicely padded new lizard leather grip. Freshly re-haired in our shop with the finest grade black bow hair.This bow is in pristine and great playable condition, with a good camber [curve]. This is a great bass bow at this cost, and function better than a low cost inexpensive Pernambuco or new German Brazilwood Bow costing hundreds of dollars.
