Buckthis auction is for Volume II onlypublished by Milwaukee News Co., Milwaukeedate of publication is missing but believe it to be 1880 or so383 pages with many B&W engravings of historical Milwaukee figuresthe book has been rebound in leather, original condition was subpar and book's owner had felt it was better to have a presentable copy to displayBUT there was a sacrifice in doing so, the title page, frontispiece and table of contents and Possibly one other page are missing from this rebound copy. Otherwise the book is complete, done in dark brown leather with gold lettering, new front and back fly leaves.Inside there is no writing, few tiny corner tip creases, there are some brown age marks and maybe finger handling smudges? on some of the pages, not all but there are some, also there are a few pages at the front of book and middle of book that have small edge chips out of them, again not that many but should be noted and there are 2 pages that have some ink smudges noted along the side edges (please see photo of this) but really for most part a very nice copy of this very old book.Bookbinder also gave the page edges an interesting colorful mottled effect. book will be shipped media mail with tracking, insurance is not offered SELLER DOES NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY NOR TO HAWAII OR ALASKA
