Includes a two page history of the station and separate schedules for the Morning, Afternoon, and Evening programming. Most of the radio stars pictured were nationally heard personalities (Jack Benny, Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Louis Lochner, Eddie Cantor, Red Skelton, Jimmy Durante, Amos 'N Andy, Roy Acuff, Hoosier Hot-Shots, etc.), though a few are Portland locals, including station manager Homer Welch, newsman Don Kneass, pianist and songstress Ruth Forbes (a native of Amity), organist Glen Shelley, KGW orchestra conductor Abe Bercovitz, sportscaster Rollie Truitt, and possibly others. It describes KGW as an affiliate station in the NBC Red Network (although the end of the Red Network was announced by NBC in September 1942 and then renamed the NBC Radio Network).
