Description: The ColecoVision PiColeco is a flash cart for ColecoVision based upon an open-source project by Aotta. Cartridge has 14mb of internal storage which should be enough to store the complete ColecoVision library 5 times over! It is equipped with a reset button, so you don't have to turn off the console every time to return to the menu. Select your games via the menu directly on the screen. The games can be organized into folders to make them easier to find. Some sample games are included but you can find more on the Internet. When starting a game, some will require you to press the console's reset button to load. ROMs must be in a specific format as documented by Aotta. This is a slight variation of the 3D printed shell. In this version, I printed some layers of clear so the green light on the Pico Pi come through. The green is showing up a bit brighter in some of my pictures but in a darker room, it looks pretty cool. To add additional rom files simply connect the cartridge to a PC as if it were a USB drive via a common USB-C cable. USB-C cable is not included. Make sure to remove the cartridge from the console before connecting it to your PC. After connected to the computer, you can copy all your favorite ColecoVision games to it. There are limitations to this cartridge and no guarantee that all games will work. In my testing most original release games work fine. Some homebrews will also work. I take as much care as possible when printing the case but sometimes there are blemishes etc. in the prints which will not affect functionality. Cartridge is tested before it is shipped. Each order will come with one PiColeco cartridge and a basic instruction sheet to get you started. The instruction sheet will be folded. PDF available if you would like. Technical support will not be provided by me for getting your files working with the PiColeco. I have no additional knowledge of the functionality and features beyond those published on Github and on Atariage. I built a few of these for friends and these are my extras.
