Jarrah wood or trees botanical name is: Eucalyptus marginata and historically known as Swan River mahogany. The tree is mostly found in the southwest of Western Australia. Photo # 14 shows photos from the British Graham Land Expedition wo Graham Land in Antarctica between 1934 and 1937 under the leadership of John Rymill. All the photos are reproduced from the book, Southern Lights. the official account of the expedition with the permission of the publishers, Mesrs. Chatto and Windus.
